Our classes are designed to suit everybody, whether you’ve tried reformer Pilates before or you’re brand new. But to ensure you get the most from your first experience, we highly recommend you book into a dynamic reformer class. This is a small group class which can focus more on your individual needs and will allow you to grasp the principles and pace of our unique class concepts.
-
Studio Arrival & Safety - Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first class so that you can familiarise yourself with the studio space and your coach can introduce you to the reformers. For your own health and safety we reserve the right to reschedule your session if you are not able to do this.
What to Wear - We suggest wearing clothes that you feel comfortable moving in. If going barefoot isn’t for you, you can wear grippy socks both on the reformer and in the strength area.
What to Bring - Please bring a water bottle, we have filtered water at the studio and as a commitment to making the world a better place we won’t be providing cups. Please also bring your own sweat towel.
The Equipment - After every class we will ask you to clean down your reformers, mats and dumbbells. Cleaning clothes and sprays are provided.
-
To Book & Buy - View the class schedule, select your class option on the booking page. You will be able to see what classes are available. Head back to the booking page and select your welcome offer, membership or package. Once you have completed your purchase, you’ll then be able to book into the class with your unique code.
Managing & Cancelling - You can manage your class bookings via your login or from your confirmation email. We have a strict 24 hours cancellation policy and due to being a small business we have to remain vigilant on this. Please see our T&Cs for more information on this.

Pregnant but would love to try reformer pilates for the first time - If you are an active person and have approval from your doctor, we ask that you book a personal training session first to get familiar with the reformers and understand how you will have to adapt throughout your pregnancy
Continuing to move now you’re pregnant - In short yes! If you are free of any complications and feel up to it, we ask that you let your coach know so they can advise you with any necessary adjustments and support during the classes. Yours and the baby’s health and safety is our priority so we will check in with you a lot more during a class.
Knowing when to stop - Moving into your third trimester can feel hard on the body as your little one completes their final bit of growing. We ask that you listen to your body and understand classes will look a little different for you. From 28 weeks, we advise that you stick to the classes with only 5 people in so your coach can keep you moving safely. Alternatively, you can move with us privately so please explore our personal training options.
Post-Natal Care - We can’t wait to welcome you back to the studio once you have been signed off by your doctor. A minimum of 6 weeks following a vaginal birth and 10-12 weeks post C-section, however this may vary for some so please confirm with your doctor first. We recommend you book a personal training session for your first session back or explore joining our mum & baby class.
-
Getting Started- Whether you have a set goal, want to build confidence on the reformer, recovering from an injury or are postnatal, we can cater to your specific needs. Please email us at hello@thestudiocheltenham.com to arrange a consultation call and book into your first personal training session.
Can I come with a friend? - Yes, you can book a one to one or a popular option is The Duet, where you can come with a friend.

Yes we do! Working around the current schedule, we can cater for small groups looking to have their own private classes whether it be regularly or as a one off.
We can cater for up to 10 people at a time, from corporate classes and sports teams to birthday or marriage celebrations, please send your enquiry to hello@thestudiocheltenham.com
-
If you are seriously injured and unsure of what you are able to do, please contact us and we can discuss it over the phone before you book into a class or personal training session.
If you have been referred to by a physical therapist then please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your class so you can give your coach all the information they need to support you in moving your body safely and pain free.
-
The Studio is a welcoming and inclusive space where we want to celebrate our differences and encourage you to feel at ease as soon as you come in. However, we are moving in a shared space and respecting one another is vital.
Mobile Phones - Your coach will be using their phone to control the music, sometimes taking photos or images for social media so please let us know if you would not like to be photographed.
Now we know life is full on and so we ask that you turn the notification volume off so it doesn’t disturb other people in the class. We love to see pictures and videos of you moving in The Studio so snap away, but please be mindful of those around you who may not want to be instafamous!
Lateness- Life is crazy at times and things happen that are out of our control which can sometimes make you late. If possible, please try to let us know you are on your way via email, our contact number or on socials if you’re running later than 5 minutes. If you are a first timer in The Studio, for your own health and safety you must arrive at least 10 minutes before your class and we reserve the right to reschedule your session.
Little People & Pets - The Studio has a little person that you may see sitting on the sofa or welcoming you in on the desk from time to time, and so we totally get that yours may have to be in tow occasionally as well. We’d appreciate it if you could let us know ahead of the class so we can ensure sticker books and colouring is ready for them!
We are big animal lovers but sadly not everyone feels the same. Unless you have a private or personal training session booked, we cannot allow pets into the classes in case others are allergic or afraid.
Enjoy and Stay till the end - We move as a collective at The Studio, whether you're moving on a reformer or in the strength area but if you’re moving with injuries or limitations, make the coach aware of these before the class so they can give you any modifications.
Be yourself, ask questions, let your coach know you can feel it working and please stay for the full 60 minutes.
The stretch down is just as important as the warm up for both your body and mind. If you do need to leave early, please let your coach know before class and leave quietly and respectfully, allowing those who treasure the final moments in class to do so.
